A 39-year-old man has been charged with murder following a fatal road traffic collision in Datchet, Berkshire, after a Thames Valley Police investigation.
Joshua Clarke, from Birmingham, was re-arrested on 21 October and charged in connection with the death of Daniel Shipton, aged 31.
The case relates to a collision involving a blue Mini and a motorcycle on Riding Court Road in Datchet at around 4:30 pm on 16 July 2025.
Clarke was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 21 October, Thames Valley Police said.
The murder charge marks a significant development in the investigation into the fatal collision. The case will now proceed through the criminal justice system.
A charge is not a conviction, and the defendant must be treated as innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
